ACE Accredited

Barry County Emergency Services E9-1-1 has successfully completed the intensive 20-step process to re-accredit as an Accredited Center of Excellence (ACE) with the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch® (IAED™). The center has once again achieved ACE status for its use of the Medical Priority Dispatch System™ (MPDS®). We are the 215th center in the world to attain Medical ACE. We are required to recertify every 3 years, and as of December 23, 2025, we were granted our 4th recertification in a row. This distinction places the center among the very highest-performing emergency dispatch agencies worldwide.  We are one of six Medical ACE agencies in the State of Missouri. 


Barry County Emergency Services E9-1-1 successfully completed the same intensive 20-step process to re-accredit with the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch® (IAED™) for Police Priority Dispatch System™ (PPDS®).  We are the 27th agency in the world to attain Police ACE as of December 18, 2025.  We are one of two Police ACE agencies in the State of Missouri.

Barry County E9-1-1 migrated to AT&T ESInet on August 12, 2025. The ESInet brings enhanced communication options, precise location information, improved reliability and resilience, interoperability between agencies, and support of emerging advanced technologies.

In December 2025, Barry County Emergency Services E911 has been recognized by The International Academies of Emergency Dispatch® (IAEDTM) as an Accredited Center of Excellence (ACE) for emergency medical dispatching and emergency police dispatching. Barry County Emergency Services E9-1-1 is the 215th  Medical ACE in the world and the world’s 27th Police ACE as well.
