After the interview, potential candidates will be scheduled to sit in with a member of dispatch and observe.  This will give the candidate the opportunity to ask questions to staff.  This session is critical to Barry County E9-1-1 as well to the potential candidates as some recruits realize the enormity of the task ahead of them and conclude that dispatching may not suit them.

After the dispatch observation, the Executive Director, with input from the Operations Manager, Dispatch Supervisor and Team Leaders, will choose the best candidate(s) for the open position(s) and make an offer of employment.
